Conformance Status
We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance for all publicly accessible pages and for the authenticated dashboard. This is an ongoing effort and we address issues as they are identified.
Technical Measures
We have taken the following technical measures to improve accessibility:
- Keyboard navigation is supported throughout the public pages and the application dashboard.
- All interactive elements have visible focus indicators.
- Skip-to-content links are provided on every page.
- Dynamic status messages (notifications and errors) are announced to screen readers via ARIA live regions.
- A high-contrast display mode is available as a footer option and activates automatically when your operating system requests it via the "prefers-contrast: more" setting.
- All images that convey meaning have descriptive alternative text.
- Form fields are associated with labels and error messages are programmatically linked to their controls.
- Page language is declared in the HTML element.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full conformance, some areas are still being improved. Complex interactive widgets in the article editor (rich-text toolbar, keyword chips) may not yet offer a fully optimised keyboard and screen-reader experience. We are actively working to address these.
